PakistanElections would break Pakistan apart if held under current rotten system: Qadri

LAHORE: The Chief of Tehreek-e-Minhaj-ul-Quran (TMQ) Dr. Tahir ul Qadri has returned to Pakistan after a short stay in Canada for medical treatment, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on Wednesday.

Talking to media persons on his arrival at the Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport, Qadri said as long as the corrupt rulers were at the helms of the state the scourge of terrorism would thrive in Pakistan.

The TMQ chief feared the forthcoming elections would break Pakistan apart if held under the existing “rotten” system.

“A major surgery is required to clear the resident malignance so that a change for the better may come about”, Qadri said.

In reply to a question, Qadri said he would announce his future line of action during a public rally at Liaquat Bagh Rawalpindi on March 17.

In the end, the cleric termed the organized arson of Christian’s houses in Lahore’s Joseph Colony as atrocious.
