KABUL: A suicide bomber targeted a bus carrying Afghan military personnel in Kabul on Wednesday, killing at least eight persons including five air force personnel and injuring 13 others.
The explosion took place in the heavily secured downtown area near Kabul University.
A spokesman for Kabul’s police chief Hashmat Stanekzai said that the bus had been the bomber’s target.
