KARACHI, Pakistan: The Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan and Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Wednesday made it clear that the peace in Karachi would be maintained at all costs.

In a meeting held at the Governor House in Karachi, both the dignitaries said that severe action would be taken against those who were creating law and order problem.

The governor said that nobody would be allowed to harm the country’s solidarity, integrity and honour and that those who spoke ill against Pakistan would be dealt with sternly.

Ishratul Ebad said that those who had taken the law in their hands or indulged in violence would be dealt with in accordance with the law.

Moreover, he said that Rangers and other law enforcement agencies had rendered immense sacrifices for the maintenance of peace in the province which would not be allowed to go in vain.
