ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Tuesday again issued notices to former lawmakers including MQM’s Haider Abbas Rizvi and Raza Haroon to appear before the court in dual nationality case.
A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry heard a case regarding dual nationality of former members of the National Assembly. Lawmakers, who appeared before the court, included Doni Aziz, Jamil Ashraf Malik, Sabeen Rizvi and Javed Tarkai.
The court ordered to issue notices again to absent lawmakers including Haider Abbas Rizvi, Raza Haroon, Askari Taqvi and Abdul Moid Siddiqui.
The court adjourned the hearing till April 16.
