KARACHI: Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan on Tuesday arrived in Karachi from Dubai, a week after rumors of his resignation over concerns regarding the targeted operation in Karachi.
Ebad was dismayed for not being taken into confidence over police and Rangers’ operation in the metropolis to curb the violence.
However, after assurances made by the federal government, he decided to come back and resume his responsibilities.
On the other hand, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) claimed that the governor is rejoining the office over party Chief Altaf Hussain’s directives.
