ISLAMABAD: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on request of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to open the banks and financial institutions for extended hours to facilitate the tax payers.

Accordingly the designated branches of State Bank‚ National Bank of Pakistan‚ major branches of commercial banks and National Institute of Facilitation Technologies will remain open on Friday and on Saturday till 10 pm while on Sunday they will remain open to the tax payers till 12 midnight.

FBR offices will also remain open till 10 pm on Friday and Saturday while on Sunday till 12 midnight.
