COVID-19 patients in Pakistan reach 4004; 55 died, 429 recovered

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Finally millions of people across Pakistan heard a pleasant news that 429 patients affected the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been recovered; however, the Cases and the death tally continue to spike as well which yet remain a huge sign of worry.

Until now, 4,004 people have been tested positive in Pakistan whereas the death toll has reached 55.

Punjab has recorded 2,004 Cases so far, and of them, 726 are Zaireen, 539 are Tableeghi Jamaat members, 49 are incarcerated in jail.

The Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Dar said that those in close contacts of the infected persons are also being tested after being traced through technology.

Of a total of 2,004 Coronavirus patients in Punjab, 25 have got recovered and 15 have died.

In Sindh, 986 Cases have so far been detected. Of them, 253 have now been cured but 18 patients have passed away. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, out of a total of 500 patients reported so far, 69 have been recovered and 17 have lost their lives.

Balochistan has recorded 202 Cases. 63 patients have got recovered and 1 has died. Likewise, Gilgit-Baltistan has 211 patients, of them 15 have got recovered and 3 have died.

In Islamabad, 83 people have so far been diagnosed with the Coronavirus and of them, 3 have been recovered and 1 has died while in Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), of 18 patients, 1 has been cured.

So far a total of 39,183 Coronavirus Tests have been conducted across the Country, of them 3,088 were carried out in the last 24 hours.
