RAWALPINDI: The corps commanders on Wednesday vowed to help the federal and provincial governments in their efforts to control the law and order situation in Karachi.

The commanders held a meeting at the Army General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Wednesday under the leadership of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani.

The meeting also decided that the intelligence agencies would provide all support to the government.

Moreover, the meeting also reviewed the tension on the Line of Control (LoC) and situation in Afghanistan.
