Corps Commanders’ Conference discusses security situation

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The 175th Corps Commanders’ Conference was held at the general headquarters in Rawalpindi on Wednesday with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif in the chair.

During the meeting, the corps commanders discussed matters of professional interest, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release.

The ISPR said that a detailed briefing was given to the participants of the conference on internal and external security situation of the country.

The COAS expressed his complete satisfaction on the progress of ongoing military operation Zarb-e-Azb against the militants and lauded the successes made so far.

The forum paid rich tributes to all participating officers and men and sacrifices made during the ongoing operation.
