Coronavirus claims 58 more lives in Pakistan; tally reaches 13,595

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Further 58 people died of Coronavirus in Pakistan on March 15, raising the total toll to 13,595.

In the last 24 hours, 43 COVID patients passed away in Punjab, 10 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 3 in Sindh, and 2 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

So far Punjab has recorded a total of 5,812 deaths, Sindh 4,461, KPK 2,169, Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) 526, AJK 322, Balochistan 202, and the Gilgit-Baltistan region 103.

The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) data showed that 35,303 people were tested for Coronavirus on March 15, and 2,511 of them were found positive.

To date, a total of 609,964 Coronavirus Cases have been detected across the Country since February 26, 2020.

Of them, 261,582 Coronavirus Cases have so far emerged in Sindh, 188,225 in Punjab, 76,379 in KPK, 48,495 in ICT, 19,233 in Balochistan, 11,089 in AJK, and 4,961 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The data further showed that 573,014 COVID-19 patients have been recovered across Pakistan as of March 16 making it a significant count while 23,355 patients are still receiving treatment.
