ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Coronavirus Cases have again begun to rise in Pakistan as 752 people tested positive on September 17, the highest figure since August 10.
In the last three days, 545, 665, and 752 Coronavirus Cases have been registered respectively across Pakistan as per the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC).
However, as many as 33,865 COVID-19 tests were conducted throughout the Country on September 17 which remains the highest figure so far in terms of tests.
The NCOC data says that 13,787 tests were conducted yesterday in Sindh, 11,928 in Punjab, 2,395 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), 3,080 in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), 1,574 in Balochistan, 442 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 659 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
Out of 752 Coronavirus Cases detected on September 17, 309 were registered in Sindh, 193 in Balochistan, 101 in Punjab, 57 in KPK, 45 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 28 in ICT, and 21 in AJK.
The data further says that nine people lost their lives to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours in the Country. Of them, 4 died in Sindh, 2 each in Punjab and ICT, and 1 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till date, a total of 304,386 Coronavirus Cases have been detected in Pakistan since February 26 including 133,125 in Sindh, 98,142 in Punjab, 37,242 in KPK, 16,033 in Islamabad, 13,991 in Balochistan, 3,381 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 2,472 in AJK.
However, of them, 291,683 Cases have ended in recoveries which are 95.8 percent of the total infected persons.
As of September 18, the total Active COVID-19 Cases in Pakistan are 6,295.
