Coronavirus Cases in Pakistan mount to 209,337

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: With 2,846 fresh Coronavirus Cases emerged on June 29, the total number of patients having been infected by the virus in Pakistan has now reached 209,337.

In addition, 118 more patients succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the number of fatalities across the Country to 4,304.

However, 98,503 COVID-19 patients have now been recovered making it a significant count after 3,096 figure was added to the total tally on June 29.

Likewise, 26,115 people have been tested positive in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 12,775 in Islamabad, 10,426 in Balochistan, 1,470 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 1,065 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). In terms of fatalities after Punjab and Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remains the most affected province with 12,626 deaths, Islamabad has suffered 7,261 deaths, Balochistan 4,197 deaths, Gilgit-Baltistan 1,117 deaths, and AJK 539 deaths.

So far the highest number of Coronavirus Cases has emerged in Sindh while the most number of fatalities has occurred in Punjab.
