HeadlinesConsultations underway to form govt at centre‚ provinces

ISLAMABAD: Consultations among the political parties have entered the final stage to form governments at centre and all four provinces.

Rao Sadiq Ali reports that PML-N which bagged 125 seats in the National Assembly has emerged as the single largest party after independent candidates joined it.

Election on women seats under proportionate system is expected to take its strength in the Lower House up to 190 seats.

Although PML-N is comfortable to form new government at centre yet it is following the strategy of reconciliation and it has initiated dialogue with small parties in all the four provinces to form a broad-based government. The proposed government could devise a comprehensive strategy to overcome challenges being faced by the country.
