SIALKOT: Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif said here on Saturday that all the CNG stations owners are fleecing the public and involved in gas theft.

The minister said that corruption mafia is ruling the country adding that vicious circular debt is the main problem which is hurting the entire system. He noted that the government has to pay 503 billion rupees on account of electricity bills.

He was addressing a ceremony organized by Sialkot industrialists in his owner.

Commenting on the row between the Sui Southern Gas Company and the Karachi Electric Supply Company, the newly inducted minister said the power utility owes 48 billion rupees of the gas company.
