Islamabad, Pakistan: Private media is claiming Islamabad Police arrested Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for attacking the State of Pakistan and misusing state resources for private consumption.
However, police have yet not confirm his ‘official’ arrest. KP House has been sealed and nobody except law enforcement agencies can enter KP House. Inspector General (IG) Islamabad Police met Gandapur and informed him that he was under arrest for attacking the State of Pakistan. Meanwhile, official channels are yet to confirm the news. Meanwhile, official channels confirmed that a ‘process against Gandapur has been initiated for attacking the State of Pakistan, misusing provincial resources for private consumption and disturbing order in the country’. The Interior Ministry said that Gandapur has not been arrested. Meanwhile, the federal government is yet to share with the media how could Gandapur reach Islamabad was sealed with cargo containers since Thursday night.
Gandapur reached Islamabad from Swabi with a procession of thousands of PTI followers to reach the D-Chowk Red Zone area.
