Chinese president looking forward to visit Pakistan soon

DUSHANBE, Tajikistan: The Chinese President Xi Jinping has said that he is looking forward to his visit to Pakistan as early as possible.

In a meeting with the prime minister’s adviser on foreign affairs and national security Sartaj Aziz on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit at Dushanbe, the Chinese president said that strategic and all weather friendship cannot be affected by changing time and situations, and will continue to strengthen with the passage of time.

The Chinese president conveyed his greetings to President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The adviser said that the government and the people of Pakistan are very keen to welcome the Chinese President in Islamabad. He said that the visit would further strengthen excellent bilateral relations.

President Xi conveyed deep condolences on the loss of life and property in the recent floods in Pakistan and said that entire Chinese nation is with the people and government of Pakistan in this hour of grief.
