RAWALPINDI: Nomination papers of PML-N leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan from National Assembly constituency NA-53 Rawalpindi were approved by the Election Tribunal on Thursday.
On Sunday, his papers from NA-53 were rejected by the Returning Officer following which Chaudhry Nisar filed an appeal. After hearing arguments, the tribunal set aside the decision of the Returning Officer and approved his papers.
Chaudhry Nisar’s papers have also being approved from NA-52, Rawalpindi.
