Monitoring Desk: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) of India has filed “charge sheet” against Islamic hate preacher Zakir Naik in a special court in Mumbai on Thursday.

Indian government through NIA will submit a request for his extradition from Malaysia and Saudi Arabia net week. Zakir Naik according to India is living in Saudi Arabia and in Malaysia since he fled from India on 1 July 2016 when a terrorist outfit of Bangladesh named him responsible for terror attacks in Bangladesh.

According to Bangladeshi media, Zakir Naik had international support for preaching hate and jihad in South Asia.

India media reported that Indian government is seeking his extradition from Malaysia and Saudi Arabia where he has been known to be residing and an official request would be placed to both countries net week.

Islamic preacher Zakir Naik is accused of inciting youth to take up terror activities, giving hate speeches and promoting enmity between communities in India as well as in Bangladesh.

NIA of India registered a case against Zakir Naik on November 18, 2016 and his NGO, Islamic Research Foundation (IRF) was declared an unlawful association by the Union home ministry.

According to Times of India, Naik was last seen on September 29, 2017 at the Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque in Putrajaya Malaysia.
