LAHORE: Imran Khan in his message urged the people to vote for change and continue the struggle for making a new Pakistan.

Chairman‚ Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI)‚ Imran Khan who received head and backbone injuries after falling from a lifter at a public meeting in Lahore on Tuesday evening is recovering at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital Lahore.

The doctors said Imran Khan will be fully recovered in a few days.

In an appeal to the nation from his hospital bed‚ Imran Khan urged them to vote for change and continue the struggle for making a new Pakistan for the sake of their children’s future.

He asked the people to come out in big numbers to vote for change on 11 May.

Imran Khan said he has done what he could to inspire the people for bringing change in the country and now it is up to the masses to ensure the change.

He asked the people to vote for his party’s ideology by shunning the politics of clan.

PML-N leader Shahbaz Sharif visited the hospital and enquired about the health of Imran Khan.

Meanwhile‚ PML (N) Chief Nawaz Sharif has cancelled electoral activities for today to show solidarity with PTI Chief.

MQM Chief Altaf Hussain also cancelled his addresses last evening as a token of solidarity with Imran Khan.

The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
