ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Malik Muhammad Habib khan has said that the focus of the caretaker set up is on holding free and fair general elections and the ministry will carry out its responsibility in the best way.

He was talking to media after chairing a high level meeting regarding law and order in Islamabad on Tuesday. The Interior Minister said our focus is on providing fool proof security to the political leaders and the general public.

Speaking on the occasion‚ Additional Secretary Election Commission‚ Muhammad Afzal Khan said that no compromise will be made on the national interest.

He said foolproof arrangements have been made for the holding of the general elections.
