QUETTA: Former military ruler General (retd) Pervez Musharraf on Tuesday filed a petition in an anti-terrorism court in Quetta seeking exemption from appearing in person in the Akbar Bugti murder case.

The ATC judge Ismail Baloch was hearing the case relating to the murder of Baloch nationalist leader Akbar Bugti.

During the hearing, former President Pervez Musharraf filed a petition in the court seeking exemption from appearing in person in the case.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing of the case till September 30.
