QUETTA: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Quetta on Tuesday declared former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, former governor Balochistan Owais Ahmed Ghani, former district coordination officer (DCO) Abdul Samad Lasi as fugitives and ordered the concerned authorities to seize their properties.

The court was hearing a case pertaining to the murder of veteran Baloch politician Nawab Akber Bugti during a military crackdown carried out on August 26, 2006 and ordered by then Pakistan’s president and army chief, General (retd) Pervez Musharraf.

Moreover, the court also rejected an application filed by Pervez Musharraf seeking exemption from appearance in the said case and ordered him to appear for the next hearing in the court.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing till December 24.
