KARACHI: The Balochistan National Party (BNP) will contest the upcoming general elections and also has formed a board for the purpose, the party chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal told media on Wednesday.
Speaking to a news conference in Karachi on Wednesday‚ the BNP Chief said that the party has directed intending candidates to submit nomination papers for the election.
Mengal was of the view that if concerns about law and order situation in Balochistan are not addressed, free and fair elections are not possible in the province. He further said that his party is against the very concept of military operation in Balochistan.
