PESHAWAR: At least six persons were killed and seven others injured when an explosion took place in a car workshop near Scheme Chowk in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa’s provincial capital Peshawar on Thursday.
The injured were shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital. Meanwhile, police reached the blast site and cordoned of the area.
The Superintendent of Police Rural Rahim Shah said that up to 30 kilograms of explosive material was planted in a vehicle that went off, killing at least six persons and injuring seven others. Several vehicles were also destroyed by the explosion.
