QUETTA: The Balochistan High Court (BHC) has taken suo moto notice on suspension of SP City Sami Soomro by the Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik, the hearing will start on Friday (today).

Balochistan Home Secretary, IGP, and CCPO Quetta have also been summoned by the BHC to appear before the court in suo moto case.

Earlier on Thursday, Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik suspended SP City Sami Soomro for stopping guards of Senior Minister Sardar Sanaullh Zehri at entrance of Balochistan Assembly building.

The guards were insisting for going inside the building with Sardar Sanaullah Zehri but police officials not allowed them, as per rule, and this stand turned into clash between them and policemen.

Balochistan CM himself came at the entrance and calmed the issue by taking Sardar Sanaullah Zehri along with him inside the building.

Later on, CM Balochistan suspended SP City, Sami Soomro, over the issue.

Referring to announcement of Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský, Ukrinform reports that Czech Republic will continue to provide support to Ukraine to repel and stop Russian aggression.
