QUETTA: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Quetta on Monday ordered the authorities to produce former military ruler General (retd) Pervez Musharraf in the case pertaining to the murder of Balochistan nationalist leader Akber Bugti on September 10.

During the hearing, the ATC judge Ismail Baloch expressed displeasure at the team investigating Bugti’s murder over their failure to produce Musharraf for the hearing.

Moreover, the court once again issued arrest warrants for former prime minister Shaukat Aziz, former Balochistan governor Owais Ahmed Ghani, former deputy commissioner of Dera Bugti Abdul Samad Lasi, who are also nominated in the murder of the Baloch leader.

The court also directed the authorities to produce the accused persons in a hearing fixed for September 10 and subsequently adjourned the matter to the said date.
