QUETTA: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani has underlined the need for implementation of security plan for polling to be held on Saturday.

Addressing a high level meeting in Quetta he said a well coordinated security plan has been prepared for peaceful polls in Balochistan.

The meeting was told that 60‚000 security personnel including 7‚000 army troops have been deployed on polling duty across the province. A Quick Response Force will also be available to meet any eventualities.
