LAHORE: Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani called on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Nawaz Sharif in Lahore’s Model Town on Saturday afternoon.

In the meeting, important matters relating to security and defence were discussed.

The army chief assured the PML-N chief that the forces would cooperate with the next government in every issue.

The meeting took place at Shahbaz Sharif’s residence in Model Town, where a luncheon was organised, attended by Nawaz Sharif and the Army chief.
