APC called by PAT demanded resignation of Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif

Lahore: All-Party Conference (APC) held by Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) here on Sunday demanded resignation of Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif over incident of killing 12 persons by Lahore police during a clash between police and PAT supporters on June 17.

The joint-declaration issued at the end of the APC also demanded dismissal of all government machinery involved in the incident. It further demanded a formation of a commission empowered enough that could summon the prime minister as well.

Delegations of political parties including from Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Jamaat-i-Islami (JI), Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) and Jamiat Ulema-i-Pakistan (JUP) Niazi group attended APC held at the Minhajul Quran Secretariat Lahore.

PML-Q leaders Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi and Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed also spoke to mediapersons on the their arrival at the Minhajul Quran secretariat.
