PESHAWAR, Pakistan: The Secretary Administration government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Abid Majeed has been appointed as the acting Director General FATA Disaster Management Authority (FDMA).
His appointment came after the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan removed the DG FDMA Arshad Khan for his laziness in the registration of the internally displaced persons (IDPs) from North Waziristan and slow cash disbursement.
The governor directed for accelerating disbursement of cash among the IDPs to mitigate their sufferings.
