Baku, Azerbaijan: On 22-23 April Baku will host the III meeting of the working group on the initiative of the Silk Road of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). The Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.

The Ministry of Culture & Tourism of Azerbaijan informs that the aim of working group’s meeting is to support the sustainable development of tourism along the Silk Road and provide co-operation of the initiative participants.

“In the course of the meeting it will be conducted a presentation of a special tourism project for Silk Road in 2013, the project plan, short-term and long-term prospects, the interests of the initiative participants, as well as the effectiveness of the project,” the Ministry reported. The meeting will be attended by Culture & Tourism Minister Abulfaz Garayev of Azerbaijan and UNWTO CEO Zoltán Somogyi.
