SIALKOT: Over forty-five villages were inundated due to flood in Naullah Aik near Uggoki and Bhopalwala in Sialkot district.The overflowed in nullas because of recent heavy rains.

Reports say crops on hundreds of acres were also inundated.

After visiting flood-hit areas‚ DCO Abid Hussain Awan said the situation was under control.

Meanwhile‚ due to recent rains‚ the flow of water in the river Chenab at Qadirabad‚ Khanki and Marala has been increased.

The district administration Hafizabad has made all possible precautionary measures to meet any eventuality in case of flood.
