Iran44 killed as two buses collide in Iran

TEHRAN: At least 44 persons were killed in a collision between two intercity buses on a road in south of the Iranian capital Tehran, state TV reported.

The accident occurred late Monday when one of the buses swerved into the opposite lane due to a flat tire, colliding head-on with the other bus.

Both the buses caught fire after the incident.
