4457 Coronavirus patients in Pakistan now; 63 died

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The number of patients infected by the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) has soared to 4,457 in Pakistan, 572 of them have succeeded to get rid of the disease; however, 63 ill-fated persons have breathed their last.

The death ration of the Coronavirus patients is 1.4 percent whereas recoveries with the ratio of 12.8 percent have so far been recorded.

By now, 44,896 Coronavirus Tests have been conducted throughout the Country.

With 2,214  patients, Punjab remains the worst affected province. Of those 2,214 patients, 1,416 are quarantined Zaireen (pilgrims), Tableeghi Jamaat members and jail prisoners while the rest citizens are 756.

In Punjab, 35 Coronavirus-infected persons have been recovered and 17 have died.

The second most affected province is Sindh wherein 1,128 Coronavirus Cases have been detected. Of them, 280 Cases ended up in recoveries but unfortunately, 20 patients couldn’t survive.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 560 Cases have so far emerged which took 20 lives. 74 patients across the province have been recovered now.

In addition, 212 Coronavirus Cases have been detected in Balochistan. Of them, 76 patients have now been tested negative whereas 2 patients have passed away.

The Gilgit-Baltistan region has witnessed 213 Cases but now 96 patients have got recovered and 3 are no more.

In the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), 102 patients have been recorded, 10 of them have been recovered but 1 female patient has died.

Whereas in Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), of 28 patients recorded so far, 1 has been recovered.
