ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: With the blessings of Allah and well-devised government’s strategy, a substantial decrease was witnessed with regard to Coronavirus (COVID-19) Cases as merely 330 people tested positive across Pakistan on August 2.

The Eid Ul Azha festivities continued across Pakistan on Sunday and the faithful who could not slaughter their animals on the first day of Eid performed the ritual on the second day (Sunday).

To celebrate the event, families, and youngsters arranged special barbecue parties on rooftops, green lawns, and open-air places at home.

Meanwhile, the Punjab government has ended the lockdown across the province, which was earlier scheduled till August 5.

On August 2, a total of 11,026 tests were conducted including 5,272 in Sindh, 3,554 in Punjab, 648 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,271 in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), 105 in Balochistan, 84 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 92 and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) to diagnose the virus. To date, 248,873 COVID-19 patients have been recovered across Pakistan making it a significant count. The NCOC data says that 213 ventilators are occupied across Pakistan out of 1,859 vents allocated for the COVID-19. While at present, the total active Coronavirus Cases in Pakistan are 25,172.

As per the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC), 330 people tested positive for COVID-19 and 8 people lost their lives on August 2.

On August 2, a total of 11,026 tests were conducted including 5,272 in Sindh, 3,554 in Punjab, 648 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,271 in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), 105 in Balochistan, 84 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 92 and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) to diagnose the virus.

To date, 248,873 COVID-19 patients have been recovered across Pakistan making it a significant count.

The NCOC data says that at present, 213 ventilators are occupied across Pakistan out of 1,859 ventilators allocated for the COVID-19. While the total active Coronavirus Cases in Pakistan are 25,172.
