20 killed, several injured in separate road accidents

MANSEHRA/SUKKUR/SARGODHA: At least 20 persons lost their lives while several others sustained injuries in separate road accident in various parts of the country on Saturday morning.

A passenger bus fell into a ravine due to over speed early on Saturday at Gandhian in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mansehra district while it was travelling from Rawalpindi to Skardu. Those killed and injured in the accident also included Pakistan army personnel.

In another road accident, at least 10 persons were killed and 10 others injured when a truck collided with a pick-up van near a vegetable market in Sukkur.

Moreover, a collision occurred between a van and a trailer near Kot Momin in Sargodha district, killing at least five persons and injuring two others.
