120 more people succumb to Coronavirus in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Further 120 people succumbed to Coronavirus in Pakistan on August 27, raising the COVID death toll to 25,535 since the virus began bettering the Country.

The latest statistics released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Saturday morning showed that 61,306 people were tested for Coronavirus across the Country in the last 24 hours, and 4,191 of them were found carrying the virus showing a positivity ratio of 6.83%.

To date, the Country has recorded a total of 1,148,572 Coronavirus Cases and 25,535 deaths while 1,029,930 people have recuperated.

In terms of province-wise data, Punjab has so far 388,296 Coronavirus Cases and 11,759 deaths; Sindh 428,254 Cases and 6,803 deaths, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 160,088 Cases and 4,909 deaths, and Balochistan 32,111 Cases and 338 deaths.

Similarly, Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) has recorded 98,339 COVID-19 Cases and 861 deaths till date, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) 31,649 Cases and 693 deaths, and Gilgit-Baltistan 9,835 Cases and 172 deaths.
