QUETTA, Pakistan: A coach with at least 40 passengers on board fell into a gorge in Khuzdar district of Balochistan on Monday, leaving at least 11 people dead and 24 including two women and two children injured.

Levies sources said that the ill-fated coach was en route to Karachi from Quetta when it fell down the National Highway near Pir Omer area in Khuzdar district while negotiating a curve.

Those injured were rushed to Civil Hospital Khuzdar by Levies forces and rescue teams for treatment.

Five terrorists sent to hell in Balochistan Islamabad, Pakistan: On 18 October 24, security forces conducted a successful intelligence based operation in District Pishin on reported presence of Khwarij (TTP). During the operation, five khwarij were apprehended and a large quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosives including 3 x Suicide Vests were seized. Apprehended Khwarij were involved in multiple terrorist attacks and were planning to target security forces as well as innocent civilians. In an other operation in District Zhob on 17 October 2024, during a fire exchange with security forces, two khwarij were sent to hell. In ensuing sanitisation of the area, weapons and ammunition were also recovered in large quantity. Security forces of Pakistan remain steadfast in their commitment to eradicate terrorism from the country and protect innocent civilians from this menace.
