QUETTA: The mastermind of Saturday’s deadly bomb blast at Quetta’s Kirani Road has been arrested in a targeted operation conducted early on Tuesday, Security forces claimed on Tuesday.

Six other suspects were also detained alongside the alleged mastermind, all of whom belonged to a banned organization, in a search operation conducted by the Frontier Corps (FC) in the Killi Qambrani area in outskirts of Quetta, the sources said.

   

Moreover, four suspected terrorists were also killed when clash erupted between the miscreants and security forces during the operation.  The arrested suspects were shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigations.

The sources claimed that large number of arms, explosive materials, detonators and ammunition were also recovered from the suspects.
