Facebook is one of the main sources of entertainment and connections. We use it to interact with people all over the world via text messages, voice, and video calling. Now Facebook is updating its video calling device to Facebook Portal Go and Facebook Portal Plus. Both devices are designed with a portable video-calling device handle on the top and a tilting display so you can take it with you anywhere and put it down wherever you want.

Facebook Portal Plus and Portal Go are video-calling devices that support Facebook, Messenger, or WhatsApp to call or message your friends, family, and colleagues. It is a video-calling device. Just like Facebook TV, these devices are smart displays like the Amazon Echo Show. These devices also work like digital photo frames and sit well in your home as a beautiful display for your pictures.

Models

There are three models of Facebook Portals that are Facebook Portal Mini, Portal, and Portal Plus work on the same laws. Every type has its different compositions and aesthetics, but these all are concerned with video chatting and the goal is to make you feel like you’re in the same room with the person who is on the other end of the call. 

Display and Camera

Facebook Portal plus has a 14 inches screen, stereo speakers, and a 12 MP ultrawide smart camera for a better video calling experience. 

Other Features

Facebook will also initiate support for Microsoft teams to make homework and home learning easier. Facebook has referred to a “long-lasting battery”. But, there are no details as to how long the battery will remain. So, we have to rely on their word for it.

Next month these devices will go on sale, their sale price will be $199 and $349.
