President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed the chairmen of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional state administration Vitaly Fedorov, who contracted COVID-19, the chairmen of Odessa – Maksim Kutsoy and Sumskaya – Roman Hryshchenko.
According to decrees No. 488-490 dated November 5, the decrees indicate that the governors were dismissed in connection with the submitted application.
Zelenskiy appointed Kutsyi Governor of Odessa in October 2019, Ivano-Frankivsk Governor Fedorov in April 2020, Sumy Governor Grishchenko in March 2020.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 4, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft presidential decrees on the dismissal of the chairmen of the Odessa Regional State Administration Kutsy, Ivano-Frankivsk – Fedoriv and Sumy – Grishchenko due to ineffective work.
