'Total Siyapaa' premiere cancelled in Pakistan after authorities denied permission

LAHORE: Pakistani actor Ali Zafar-starrer bollywood movie ‘Total Siyapaa’ premiere has been cancelled in Pakistan after authorities denied permission, Indian media reported on Thursday. However this news and media campaign against Pakistan by Indian media was against the facts.

Total Siyappa is a romantic comedy about a Pakistani guy who falls in love with Indian girl and how he faces all the trouble to get approval from the girl’s family.

The movie, releasing on March 07, 2014 was directed by Eshvar Niwas, who had earlier directed films like Shool, Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega, Dum and My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves.

It stars Ali Zafar, Yami Gautam, Anupam Kher and his real life wife Kiron Kher. The couple is appearing together for the first time in a movie.

Total Siyapaa’s premiere was supposed to take place on Thursday in Karachi but the filmmakers didn’t get permissions from the Pakistani authorities.
