American most popular action series ‘Mission: Impossible’ released its sixth installment on July 27, 2018. The following series is based on the television series of the same name by Bruce Geller. The first film was released in 1996 and received highly positive response from critics. It has been the most popular and fantastic action movie of all time. Mission: Impossible (1996) earned $457.7 million globally and keeping the same track, its fourth installment ‘Mission: Impossible- Ghost Protocol’ collected $694.7 million worldwide. It was the highest grossing film of franchise until now. Yes, the ‘Mission: Impossible- Fallout (2018)’ is already out, breaking all the records on box office.

‘Mission: Impossible 6’ is produced and directed by Christopher McQuarrie. He is the first person who directed more than one movie in the franchise. The main actor of the series is Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt leading the role of an agent of fictional impossible mission force (IMF).

The plot follows the Ethan Hunt and his team along with some close allies fighting against time where mission gone wrong. The team join forces with CIA and murdered August Walker (Henry Cavill) to prevent a disaster. John Lark and other terrorist group named Apostles planned a nuclear attack on Mecca, Vatican, Jerusalem and Saudi Arab using three plutonium cores.

Well, the franchise might get old but Tom Cruise’s age is still same. Isn’t it unbelievable that he turned 56 this year? Whether he is riding a bike or climbing up the building, his style and amazing stunts never goes out of fashion. ‘Mission: Impossible’ has proved that there are lot to explore yet even in its sixth installment. You never get bored of it. Rather it gets more interesting with every new sequel.

‘Mission: Impossible-Fallout’ has turned out to be the biggest of franchise and set the record on weekend box office. It has collected $60.1 million on its opening. It has earned $77.5 million in the US and Canada on July 31, 2018. It made another $116.6 million all over the world. It has earned total of $193.6 million worldwide. The budget of the movie was $178 million. It has been the biggest opening of the series. It also scored 97% on rotten tomatoes and 8.4 on IMDb rating. Moreover, it scored 86/100 on Metacritic. It has received grade “A” on CinemaScore which is the highest for any series.  Tim Robey of The Telegraphs said, it’s among the blockbuster of the summers calling the series “bond-like” franchise. He also gives it five stars. In-short, the movie has receiving really positive reviews and is still on big screen. If you haven’t watched it yet, go and get your seats.
