Pakistani popular drama serial “Aisi Hai Tanhai” has been broadcasted on MBC Bollywood under the title of “Karamati”. MBC Bollywood is a channel known for airing Bollywood movies and dramas for Arab viewers in Middle East and other regions.

“Aisi Hai Tanhai” was first released on ARY Digital Network on 8th November 2018, and then its last episode was aired on 21st March 2018. The drama was written by Mohsin Ali and directed by Badar Mehmood. It has been produced by Fahad Mustafa and Dr. Ali Kazmi. “Aisi Hai Tanhai” basically showed that how social media can ruin someone’s life. The plot revolves around Pakeeza (Sonya Hussain) who plays a lead role in drama. Sonya Hussain is playing a role of an ordinary girl who falls in love for Hamza played by Sami Khan. Pakeeza (Sonya Hussain) offers her intimate pictures to Hamza (Sami Khan) to prove her love. But Hamza rejects and refuses to take them. Unlucky, some universities students steal her phone and leak those pictures on social media sites. The incident turns out to be a huge tragedy for Pakeeza and destroyed her life.

It became a very popular serial and liked by so many people all over Pakistan. This drama has touched very important issues regarding slut-shaming in conservative societies of Pakistan. As shown in the drama that how the girl has suffered and sacrificed everything just to prove herself innocent.

After its huge success in Pakistan, it has now been released across the Middle East and North Africa etc. After the drama serial “Humsafar”, it is the second Pakistani drama which has been aired internationally.
