ISPR Tribute to Father of the Nation —- “Zameen-O-Asmaa Maiy Har Zubain say lā ilāha Nikla”

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) of Pakistan Armed Forces has released another patriotic song and this time the initiative is “A Tribute to Father of the Nation”. Song is released in connection with birthday of Father of the Nation —- Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

This philosophical message converted into a song is written by Prof Ahmad Rafique Akhtar and sung by Sahir Ali Bagga. Professor Ahmad Rafique Akhtar is a spiritual healer, a distinguished Muslim scholar and a promising thinker of 21st century.

Video of song starts with a dramatic scene that lasts for 30 seconds where a character enters in an abandoned room and found a dusted book titled— The Story of Glory—-. He opens the book and then the story of creation of Pakistan starts.

The first photo that appears on screen is of a group of Muslims marching for demand of a separate country for Muslims of subcontinent having Pakistani flags in their hands.

“Zameen-O-Asmaa Maiy Har Zubain say lā ilāha Nikla” (The voice of “there is no God” came from earth and sky and everybody recites that there is no God except Allah) is Antara of song. It may be mentioned that Pakistan Ka Matlab Kia—- La Ilaha Illa Allah (Pakistan is byword for that there is no God except Allah) was main slogan when Muslims of subcontinent were struggling for the creation of an independent state for them.

However, videography of this song is poorer than previous songs released by ISPR. Still photographs are used although videos are readily available of same visual content. Meanwhile, placing of photos is not aligning with content. Producers use photos of Indo-Pakistan partition scenes when singer is explaining that Muslims of subcontinent were downtrodden and dejected and then Quadi –i-Azam surfaced and he made weaker and poorer people nation which fought for a new country. Singer is talking about pre-partition situation and photos are representing post-partition migration.

Song narrates story of creation of Pakistan under the leadership of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Story goes on and shares rise of Pakistan from scratches to a nuclear power of the world.

The beauty of song is that the writer does not forget those heroes who made this country a greater power of the world along with those who sacrificed their lives to protect the country against its enemies.

ISPR since long is taking lead in promoting patriotism through releasing national songs, documentaries and dramas. This song which is released in connection with birthday of father of nation to be celebrated on December 25 is another golden feather in the cap of ISPR.
