ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The 62-year-old Imran Khan has got married with Reham Khan, 41, on Thursday as their Nikkah ceremony was held with simplicity at the politician’s residence in Bani Gala.

The Nikkah was conducted by Mufi Saeed and was followed by a photo session. The Haq Mahar was set at Rs100,000.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan’s close friends Zakir Khan and Aun Chaudhry were his witnesses for the Nikkah.

During the ceremony, the legendary cricketer-turned political was wearing a sherwani and Peshawari chappal while the DawnNews anchorperson Rahman Khan was wearing an off-white wedding dress.

In her twitter message, the PTI’s central information secretary Shireen Mazari said that there will be no wedding or Valima receptions & on Friday food will be distributed among poor children.
