ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: An exhibition of miniature paintings by three young artists will be held on Tuesday at Nomad Art Gallery, Art and Craft Village, Saidpur.

The exhibition titled `Reading between the lines’ will showcase the artwork by three talented artists, including Sadaf Javaid, Osama Bin Shahab and Hira Shakir.

In a statement, the artist Sadaf Javaid said her recent line of work is inspired by the rapidly growing influence of movie and television series on our lives.

Hira Shakir, the other artist said, there exist many patterns beside our own and all these patterns are interconnected opening different life circles within a circle. My work is an attempt to explore my interaction with these circles as I float and blend within these various life patterns.

The only male artist of the exhibition, Osama Bin Shaahab stated, to participate and contribute effectively as an artist in society and art world in particular through the medium of Miniature Painting. Art has a meaning that should be reflected into work.

Director of Nomad gallery, Nageen Hayat said this exquisite exhibition of miniature paintings by these young artists covers the modern day life, symbolic images and interconnectedness of life’s patterns. Their though processes reflected through the art process are indeed laudable, she added.

The exhibition will remain open till October 22.
