MUMBAI: Bhaag Milkha Bhaag director-producer Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra rubbished rumours of the film being banned in Pakistan, saying on the contrary, they had got three different offers from there and also an invite to the entire cast and crew. The director says the cast and crew have been invited to Pakistan for promoting the film.

Pakistan has gave three different offers. Also, an invite for the crew has come which does not come very often,” he said at the promo and music launch of the film in Mumbai on Wednesday.

The director further added that it is being said that the film will “result in the revival of cinema in Pakistan”.

Based on the life of athlete Milkha Singh, the film stars Farhan Akhtar and Sonam Kapoor and is all set to release on July 12.
