The Padmaavat actor Shahid Kapoor is back on big screen with another up-coming film “Batti Gul Meter Chalu” along with co-stars Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam. The movie trailer will be out tomorrow 10th August at 12:30 pm.

The story-line of the film is about the current electricity issue in India and especially in the small towns and the struggle of Shahid Kapoor against the power distribution companies and over exorbitant electricity bills.

The film is produced by Bhushan kumar, Nishnat Pitti and Karishan Kumar, and directed by Shree Narayan Singh.

Shahid Kapoor unveiled the first poster of the film on Thursday morning on his Instagarm account along with the trailer date and wrote “It’s current, it’s light, and it’s shocking! Batti Gul Meter Chalu.

Talking about the film poster, the post has shown a fused bulb along with a tagline: “Fused bulb se kranti nahi lai sakti”.

The film is getting a good response from across India, after the poster has been unveiled this morning, now everyone is excited about the trailer.

The film is set to be released on 21st September 2018 under the T-Series Films production. The music of the film is given by Anu Malik and Sachet-Parampara while the Background Score of the film is given by Vijay Verma, Anamik and Lyton.
