ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Actors Ayesha Omar and Azfar Rehman sustained injures when another vehicle collided with their car and plunged into ravine on Super Highway in Nooriabad on Friday morning.

They were travelling from Karachi to Hyderabad for the launch of a clothing store, a private TV channel reported.

Ayesha Omar has suffered two fractures on her neck and arm while Azfar Rehman received head injuries in the crash.

Both shifted to Jamshoro hospital, where they received medical treatment and then transported to Karachi’s South City Hospital via ambulance.

Ayesha Omar and Azfar Rehman were accompanied by host and actor Anoushey Ashraf and model Abbas Jafri on this trip, but were travelling in a separate car.

Both actors are now said to be recovering. Ayesha is yet to be discharged from the hospital.
